Student Spotlight - Wioletta Chruszcz

Wioletta started her UHI journey at Inverness and is now finishing her studies via distance learning at UHI Perth.
What is your name, and where are you from?
My name is Wioletta Chruszcz. I am originally from Poland but have lived in Inverness for 11 years.
What course are you studying at UHI Perth, and what year are you currently in?
I am studying HND Administration and IT.
How did you hear about UHI Perth?
UHI Perth had been recommended to me by Inverness lecturers after I mentioned I was interested in progressing further in administration.
What were you doing before you came to college?
I have been studying for three years at UHI Inverness.
Why did you decide to pick this course?
As I have done NC and HNC Administration, I wanted to improve my qualifications.
What is your favourite thing about the course?
I do enjoy the course altogether, it would be hard to pick one favourite thing. I like how it is delivered and the fact that I can improve my personal skills on it.
Has there been any standout/memorable moments from your course?
Yes, a lot of assessments in the first semester π
What knowledge, skills and experience have you gained from your course that will help you when you leave UHI Perth?
Doing this course helped me with my confidence, which I always struggle with. As a class rep, I can meet and learn a lot from new people.
Have your lecturers been supportive during your studies?
Yes, I was overwhelmed with how supportive all the lecturers are.
Any other achievements you have gained on your journey?
As I have completed some of the units in the previous year, I have been allowed to study Human Resources, which is essential to me.
Have you enjoyed studying at UHI Perth? Any highlights?
I am enjoying it. It is a new experience that allows me to work on my weaknesses.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of college?
I am passionate about photography.
What are your future career plans?
After finishing the course, I hope to find a job and improve all the skills I have learned.

Donβt hesitate and go for it!
