I’m currently studying HNC Musical Theatre.
How did you hear about UHI Perth?
One of my friends was on the course I am now on and told me about it.
What were you doing before you came to UHI Perth?
I was in high school!
Why did you decide to pick this course?
Because I was unsure on what I wanted to do with my life and I have an interest in theatre, therefore I thought it would be a good course to help me decide what to do with my life.
What is your favourite thing about the course?
The people and my lecturers.
Has there been any standout/memorable moments from your course?
Performing as Ariel in ‘The Little Mermaid’ in January!
During The Little Mermaid production, can you tell us how the shows went?
I was one of the Ariels, we had two casts and I shared the part with a HND theatre student. It helped me develop as a performer in several different ways and my favourite part was getting to work with such an amazing cast of talented performers!
Have you performed in any other productions during your studies?
Yes! Only out-with college, however. I was Princess Fiona in Shrek last September and next week I’m going to be in Arbroath Musical Society’s ‘Sunshine on Leith’.
What knowledge, skills and experience have you gained from your course that will help you when you leave UHI Perth?
I have learned many things like being able to work as a team with my class, people who I had never met before September, and I have also learned a great amount of new material in a short space of time.
Have your lecturers been supportive during your studies?
Yes! They’re very supportive and they are some of the nicest people I have ever met.

The Starbucks 😉
